First of all, this should only be viewed as a possible medical treatment for someone have who complains exceedingly about intrusive thoughts to a counselor who is probably over the age of 50, and it is determinable that the person is sincere in correcting their thoughts, and is willing to have the images he or she might see in her mind’s eye as an adult have changed to what he or she feels is more appropriate. Like all ideas, this one has the potential to be a very terrible thing, as there can be a certain beauty in some psychological illnesses that if treated, such thoughts could be removed from society that may have some benefits, such as if explored in various art forms, such as paintings, photography, music, and videos.
How to go about controlling inappropriate dreams, thoughts, ideas, visions, etc., using electroconvulsive therapy involves first determining what one’s things they may see or hear etc., inside their head are. This could be achieved through hooking a person up to electrodes that transmit data which encodes thought, emotional, sight, and perhaps even tactile imagery to a computer capable of decoding such things. Essentially, the inappropriate things become transmitted via wire or wirelessly so that they could be displayed in audio or visual content by a computer monitor, much like how the internet works in modem-based transmission of social media, especially where something such as emotions could be codified by a computer using color associable with Goethe’s color-based theories.
If it is determined from psychological evaluation that the media generated in the mind of the patient is inappropriate, and harmful to the patient, as some even with issues might not like to have their thoughts/dreams/emotions etc., treated by ECT even if they are inappropriate, then upon agreement the patient could submit to having their soul controlled by ECT. This can be achieved in the laboratory, but it could even be done on a day-to-day basis as the patient goes about their daily business, while hooked up to a cell phone using an app to monitor and treat daily activities with ECT.
