New Invention Maybe: 1 Minute Rewind Idea

Ever find yourself using multiple tries to navigate through and replay the sweet spots in media. This one may have already been thought of but just in case: this is not an invention that finishes rewinding a VHS tape completely in one minute. I know that one has been invented before. What I am talking about would be an invention that would be similar to an instant replay. Let me explain: In my generation cassette tapes were a real pain in the butt, in fact the inability for the user to find the desired place in the music was super annoying. This is still true in digital media, but not so much, as there is the loading bar idea, where audio and video that enables one to click to find the right spot. This is where the idea of this blog comes in: imagine a button that rewinds media exactly 1 minute at a time. Obviously, there could be some settings which could make this something at 30 second rewind, but that is beside the point. This rewind idea would be extremely useful at websites like Facebook.com which is loaded with short media files, audio and video, where the ability to find the sweet spot in them for replay or reviewing would come in handy.

Facebook - Sharing Gmail Emails

Google and Facebook should team up and make it possible to share emails on one's Facebook wall.  In fact, it should be more than only Gmail and Facebook allowing cross-platform sharing.  Facebook should to team up with all of the most popular email related companies, like HotMail (Outlook.com), Aol Mail, Yahoo! Mail, and Gmail, and make it possible to share anything from anywhere.

Facebook Complaint Causes Need for Major Overhaul

Good grief! When will Facebook allow multiple channels so we don't have to miss out on what we like? I want to be able to toggle between animals, music, politics, etc.  Sometimes I might want to shuffle or randomize my channels.  This is not new technology.  Randomization has been a part of music players since the shuffle button was invented, and then they probably borrowed that idea from something earlier, like the lottery.

Facebook SHOULD STOP TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A SINGLE INTEREST FOR ME, and recognize that its customers', such as yours truly, likely have many interests, especially interests that are not being catered to!

We are frustrated with Facebook!

The solution is to make Facebook.com similar to Pandora.com, asking customers how we want our feeds grouped.  Let us switch between user tailored preferences.  For each like I have in a particular group, ask me if I favor this sort of material in my feed, not whether I "like" it or not.

I don't like horrors, yet I feel some things in the news should be reported on that I don't like.  It is a problem for honest people if we don't like horrors, because when Facebook.com sees us not liking it, not matter how horrible it is, they jump to the conclusion that we don't want it in our feeds.  Rubbish!

This is a complaint that people have had about Facebook since the beginning, and that is Facebook is telling its users what they like according to Facebook's idealistic grouping, and not serving its customers.

Dear Facebook, please put me in control of my feed!

***** Samsung A157 Go Phone: Unbeatable Price – Go For This Phone

This phone is totally awesome.  It is excellent for text based internet, like Facebook.  I totally love the T9Eab function, such that I find it more useful and quicker to use once (once you get used to it).  So for, cell phones that have a keyboard, generally I feel that once you get used to T9Eab, you will never want to go back.  Additionally, as a bonus with this function, you can add words to the T9Eab vocabulary.
It does have a small screen.  That can either be a bonus or a bane.  For me, personally, it's a bonus.
The A157 is also perfect for checking one's email.  I use Gmail, and here and there during most days, I use this phone to read my email.
Be warned though, there are some features of websites that this phone can't handle, such as buying at amazon.com.  If you use Amazon, then I recommend connecting with a computer with a larger screen.  Thus, though this phone can't buy via Amazon.com, it would probably not be good enough as a computer to use Amazon's functions anyway, and that is neither plus nor negative.   The reason being, size.  If you want a small phone, that is well constructed, and has some internet function capabilities, go for this phone!
I personally use my phone as an emergency phone, usually paying just $15.  I spend $5 for internet, and roughly $9 in emergency calls.  That is unbeatable!
The one thing I feel that is actually lacking with respect to the A157, is that it can't interface with say a laptop or a desktop to be a source of internet capability.  Yet, for $20, I still feel that you really can't beat the price of this phone for the functionality of it.
