Humorous CD Player Invention

The invention is running a cd walkman of rests on your face.  The disc itself would revolve around the tip of the clients nose.  This would require a very small stabilizer on the nose that does not revolve, and a part that does.

The apparatus would be for lying on one's back.   It could be used perhaps when napping.  Naturally, some effort would need to be made to keep it light.  For example, it would probably be a good idea not to have a cover that goes over the top of the spinning cd.  However, if there was a cover, it may be a good idea to put PV (photovoltaic cells) on the top of that cover, so that they could be used as a power source.  However, in my mind, the cd player was to be battery operated.

Really, at heart this is a gag gift.  Though it may make some money, it is not ment to be taken seriously.  I do think that there could be a small market for it.  The idea came to me by way of a dream.  Usually, my dreams crash and burn in nonsense.  However, this time I dreamed a possible dream.  I may even call it a gift from Hashem.

Is There Anything We Can Gain From The Cape and Islands Wind Farm?

Who would have thought that the wind turbine issue would be so great? Whatever the case, we need to get some hard data on how these turbines are affecting people before we shut them down. I don't think that we have seen the last of wind power. I do believe we need to move on with wind power once we figure out what has gone horribly wrong. Keep the hope that wind power is something good, and does have real and good applications. We just need to find out where we went wrong so that we can fix it. My own instinct as a science educated person is that what is giving people vertigo and dizziness via noise and pressure should somehow be collected and used as power, and that the problems of the wind turbines should be converted to useful energy.

As an outsider, without any data, this is my pathetic guess as to what is going wrong.  The reason people are probably suffering so much is from the centrifugal force that is exuded at the tips of the wind mills.  If there was a collector of that force that brought it back (parallel to the turbine aerodynamically, or within the wind turbines themselves), perhaps a tube of sorts, that energy could be collected, and converted to useful energy.
