** Anker Golden AC Adapter + Power Supply Cord for Laptop Acer Aspire: It Is Already Breaking!

Right where the wires that connect the computer to the converter I have a problem.  I am already on my second one of these.  The first one didn't have this problem, but failed for another reason.  This product was very inexpensive, and it is such a shame that it's got this weakness where the shell of the wires is retracting and exposing bare wire that is ripping.  Though I have been very careful to pamper this product it is still not enough, and if it fully rips due to how delicate this connection is, I don't think that I will be able to fix it.
