If We Raise Taxes With Cuts In Spending, Then Our Money Will Go Further

President Obama’s idea of raising minimum wage has to be the dumbest of his career. Money isn’t all that straight forward. We need sense with money, and that does not come by merely putting more money in peoples’ hands. It is just not that easy. That is how the game Monopoly or the board game Life works, and they are totally not realistic compared to reality where inflation is a huge issue. Our money can only be worth more if we spend it wisely. I am positively fed up with the same old same old, spins your wheels in the mud government. The truth is both sides need to put cuts and raising taxes on the table and stop finger pointing at the side that won't do the other. With talk of hope, obviously there is very little hope with President Obama in office. He has not proven powerful enough to motivate folks, or get them together and talk reasonably. Therefore, looking forward to the next term, already, I hope Hillary Clinton or Deval Patrick runs for President. I like Deval because I think we belong to the best state in the union, MA, and Deval has had to accomplish that without running any debt or deficits, as state government forbids that we go into the negative.

“ADHD, autism, schizophrenia, and other major disorders may be more related than we thought.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/28/psychiatric-disorders-genetics-mental-disorder-autism-adhd_n_2781772.html My extended commentary to a Huffington Post article on the subject of the title. I knew it all along. Why? Because I had them all. As a youngster, I had ADHD, but undiagnosed though every knew I had it. Then, I had a psychotic episode where I was told that my illness would only get worse. That was proven wrong by going not the holistic route, but the comprehensive route, where my family had to dig deep into their pockets in order that I would get healed. The treatment I receive comes by licensed practitioners at Comprehensive Psychiatric Resources in Waltham, MA. The separation of these diagnosis is often according to age more than anything else. Doctors are much likely to play the part of wishful thinking by diagnosing a kid with ADHD rather than make a mistake and give a diagnosis that has more stigma attached to it. If it’s a kid, then they call it autism or ADHD. Why? Everyone has a lot of hope that a cure will come for autism. And, frankly it is practically in style to get a diagnosis of ADHD. The problem is that autistic children become schizophrenic adults. That is when they get a, “You are beyond all hope diagnosis,” which is not entirely true if your doctor uses comprehensive resources like the Great Plains Laboratory. These folks are often able to get their diagnosis reduced to bipolar on a gluten and casein free diet, as I did, but there is no cure for the damage that ten or twenty years of opiates can deal to a young developing mind. Also, I recommend doing the test to see if a gluten free and/or casein free diet is necessary for you or your loved one. Lot’s of people go gluten free and just because they eat healthier, they report a false positive that removing gluten is helpful. That test can hopefully be administered to you through the Great Plains Laboratory that also requires that you work with a licensed practitioner in order to get the test. It will cost you an arm and a leg, and your health care almost certainly won’t cover it, but it can mean the difference between life and death. I, myself, am suspicious of the shots. Mainly, vaccines affect the immune system, and many of these disorders are traceable to the immune system. Thus, the thing that we are observing that has reaction to the immune system may go back as far as the appearance of narcolepsy, as a separate diagnosable disorder, where it was previously unknown to exist, and where these folks are observed to exhibit narcotic symptoms, that appear as if one has consumed opiates. It is that there are certain plants that contain gluten, and milk that contains casein, that these two proteins have opiate derivatives, which affect some people but not others. The fact is that the gut of someone with the illness in question, be it ADHD, autism, schizophrenia, narcolepsy, or chronic fatigue, etc, is fundamentally different. The gut of people with these illnesses digests gluten and casein different from the majority of the population. With respect to the doctor, Dr. Andrew Wakefield's, who lost his job for putting out a journal article for the above mentioned information. If the guy was actually a crook, out to do harm, he would have most likely not said something so profound as a link between vaccines and autism. That statement is so audacious that he would have had to have been a fool to make it and be trying to tell us all a lie. He would have been debunking the goodness of vaccines, and vaccines have long been considered perhaps in the 10 top medicinal inventions ever. Folks this guy was a doctor, and not a dummy. Only a dummy would make up such a lie as to correlate vaccines and autism, and frankly there is not a chance in hell that a doctor would have said that particular thing if it was in fact untrue.

The Horrible Stock Market Bubble Yet to Pop and The President

How much longer do we figure President Obama is going to be able to inflate the market to prosperity? And, why do I blame President Obama for the problems? Truth be told he is not the only factor. However, whenever he proposes cuts they just simply not enough to have a down to earth perspective on the budget. When Obama talks cuts, they just simply aren't enough money. He keeps using words to describe the type of knife used when talking about cuts, but we also have to be realistic. I agree not all the proposed cuts by Republicans are ideal. However, Washington needs more give and take. That means for the President to give into the Republicans demands, if only to ensure that we don't end up making zero progress on the debt and deficit, which has been the case. So far it appears Wall Street is eager to play into this bubble, the political bubble of minimal cuts, and unrealistic spending, but can we sustain this inflated bubble indefinately, and do we even want to do such a thing?

WTF??? Does AT&T Think That I Want To Pay More for Data Sometimes?

I just looked at my AT&T Go Phone message that just informed me that I have no money left.  That is because I didn’t buy a bigger data package.  However, it would have been nice if they had warned me to buy a data package, rather than run up the dough on my phone, as if I wanted to pay more money by not having a data package.

So hi!  Let me introduce myself.  I was a happy AT&T customer because Verizon screwed me for data to a much greater extent than AT&T did though nonetheless both companies have screwed me before.

I am a somewhat happy user of a Go Phone now, so that getting screwed to the extent of $1,000 over data with Verizon will never happen again because when my card runs out of money, that’s it.  If I was with Verizon under contract, it could have been worse.  Last I knew, you could spend yourself into oblivion with Verizon data without even a warning.

At least a warning would have helped me with AT&T.  Now, I am without my phone because I was watching a long video on it that ate up all my data.  AT&T courteously stopped me when I had spent my last cent, but they didn’t courteously tell me that my data plan had run out.  I would have liked the option to buy a new plan when the last one ran out, such that I don’t have to wait until my next check to have a phone to use.

Like Verizon, AT&T is doing bad business.  When I worked at McDonald’s if you ordered everything that comes with a value meal, it was automatic for us to make it at the value meal price.  Why?  It is good business to help the customer get deals.  That makes your business at least seem friendly.  In the same way, when your data package ends, it should automatically deny you use of data unless you purchase a data package, even if it is an emergency package that costs say, $1 for 1MB, because seriously AT&T who actually wants to spend more money on data by not buying a data package, especially without being asked!!!???

Stopping the Media Plague That Is Cursing the Innovative Minds of Our Children

I just got done playing with my child. He handed me a spatula, and took his sword and we pretended to be having a light saber duel. That idea of using a spatula creatively like a light saber is something too many children aren’t doing these days. It is no wonder that the experts are saying that the younger generation is not as creative as they have been in previous generations. Though perhaps by accident, not having the money to buy the second light saber becomes a blessing for the creativity of a child’s mind. That is, the child only having one light saber needs to use a substitute to have fun, and through that method of substituting similar things, such as even a spatula, can have a profound effect on the minds of our youth.

So, if you are poor, don’t fret. Don’t ask the government for $9 an hour. Rather, teach your child how to be creative through allowing them to play, and be of assistance to helping them delve into their creative minds, such as through the Spatula Light Saber Substitution Theory (SLST). And, at the same time, find creative ways to make your dollar stretch further, so that you don’t need to beg the government for a higher minimum wage.

Another solution to this problem of lack of creativity is to introduce your child to the Bible stories at a young age. These stories are so fantastic that they seem like fables. However, they will cause your child to engage his or her imagination. Children are naturally inclined to these stories because children like fantasy.

Fantasy is a part of what makes the universe so awesome. Without imagination, there would be no Tesla, no Plato, and no Einstein. The world needs creative folk; one's that shake the foundations of the earth and the heavens for being allowed to play at a young age.

A Looming Potential Disaster to the Credibility of Science

I think oxidation is a major factor when it comes to dating fossils.  When dating something, oxidation is not included in the factor, because in theory these fields have yet to be united in a theory of everything, so to say.  You can't tell me that the sun beating down on some rocks causes them to decay, and that is not someway tied to the their radioactive date.  Radioactivity is only part of the picture, and it most certainly reasonable to believe that oxidation plays a role in radioactivity.

I have written on this subject years ago, but I never got much of a response.  So, now I'll give it another try.

Raising the Minimum Wage to $9 an Hour Is a Potential Economic Disaster

http://www.marketplace.org/topics/wealth-poverty/would-obamas-9-minimum-wage-help-or-hurt-workers#.URwVzRVm4a0.facebook

This is a potential economic disaster if we keep raising minimum wage. It is not about how much money we have, but how far we are able to make it go. If people don't work hard to make $9 an hour stretch further, the only thing we have done is make for more difficult mathematics for less fortunate folks that are already challenged at the math that their current pay gives them.  This is mostly because our currency is not based on anything, such as silver or gold.  We can print money all day long, but if we did, it wouldn't be worth anything.  $7.25 is plenty for a minimum wage and it definitely should not be any higher because folks with small brains would just inflate the dollar with sloppy spending, such that the essentials become more expensive.

The road to prosperity is not via inflation. This subject already came up in American history, and the route to prosperity proved not to the inflation route. The only way to prosperity is to bargain in order to drive down prices. The American people need to bind together and agree not to pay high prices rather than buying expensive things that are overpriced, and then play the victim.

*** Beyond Outrage by Robert B. Reich – Of Reich’s Works That I Have Read It’s Comparatively Subpar

The first point I would like to make takes up a third of this book.  It is on what Reich has called Radcons in another book.  I think Reich has said enough about Radical Conservatives by now.  The Radcons are no longer a threat.  However, I agree that regression is a threat.
My generation has rejected the Radcon way of life in favor of having a more liberal lifestyle.  It is not radical conservatives Reich is afraid of, but those who wish to be fiscally responsible, and these folks may be either Democrat or Republican.
I, myself, have already stated that I believe Reich is wrong about what to do.  Reich wants to continue running trillion plus dollar deficits until the economy gets better.  However, to me that seems stupid.  We may get a good run at having a good economy, but not enough to sustain an economy recovery.  That is, 8 years is not enough time to put us in the positive, and chances are that partly because of term limits, we won’t be able to sustain enough of a recovery.  Perhaps, getting rid of term limits is something we should consider, but I think that we would just go for another 4 years of Obama mediocrity.
Some presidential leaders to look for come 2016 are Hillary Clinton, Deval Patrich, and even Reich himself.  It has baffled me why Reich hasn’t run for office.
The first part of this book, “The Rigged Game,” I think most folks already know enough about.  Most folks are angry at Wall Street and the rich, and want government to work for them doing things such as closing loopholes.  The word is out.  And, folks are right, the game is rigged.
One area I flat out disagree with Reich is that I don’t think giving more money to the poor is a good answer.  In my opinion, folks need to find out how to make their money, the money they already don’t have because they are broke because they have already spent it, work for them, such that the poor can be empowered.  Thus, the answer is for folks to be more careful when spending, rather than to toss out more handouts.  These actions are going to take a concerted effort, and America is going to need to find some fiscally conservative cheerleader that can see to it that folks are able to make their money go as far as it can possible go.
One suggestion I might make is that I often shop at Amazon.com, if a local store doesn’t have what I need, or if the local is charging an unreasonable price.  There are lots of good bargains on Amazon.com, especially if you are willing to put up with having used goods.  Also, there are other stores like BJ’s where if you are careful with your money, it will stretch further.
The major problem of this book is that it assumes that if you put more money in the hands of average Americans, then good things will happen, but that isn’t true.  The fact is that most Americans are clueless when it comes to math, such that if you gave them more money, they wouldn’t have a clue how to spend the money wisely.  Therefore, the problem is not that the poor and middle class don’t earn enough, but the problem is that CEO pay is ludicrously high.  The reason middle and lower class pay is good is because if we raise it, it would simply cause more inflation, and folks would have a much more difficult time determining whether or not they should purchase something based upon its price.
I do agree with the author that there are certain things we should be outraged at, such as the buying of political offices.  I agree that CEO pay is out of control.  I agree that we need to close tax loopholes, such taxing what is now considered to be capital gains.  Reich does make a lot of good points, but I felt that his books Supercapitalism, and Aftershock were much better.
Lastly, the last third of the book seems both naïve and correct.  In order to have a movement that will make change, we have to get off of our couches.  However, the USA suffers for this as we Americans are couch potatoes.  Our ancestors would have bound together to fight against our problems, but for us, we are not a very cohesive nation.  That is, too often we relate to each other via the internet.  That is another subject that Reich might do well to include if he writes another book.

The USA's Junk Yard Economy

Every year the Obama administration has been in office, the deficit, roughly a trillion dollars, has been an economic stimulus. That is the yearly deficit is the yearly stimulus. Folks does this seem to be working? Last I knew prices, were going up. Can't we see, as a nation that there has to be a better way.

Now, I am not about having the poor and the middle class foot the bill. Why? Because the government doesn't protect the money of the poor and middle class. Why? Because they don't have any money to protect. Rather, the 5% of us that the government works for, it is these folks that the government who should foot the bill. So, it is not as if I am demanding the money from the rich to go to the poor, but rather I am demanding that the rich pay for their own government.

I'll also add that when I see a lot of average people, I would collectively call them a bunch of junk. They don't deserve to have more money because they will just squander it on booze, and drugs, and likewise prices will go up. I don't have much hope for average folks, and by that I don't mean poor, middle class or even rich folks. What I am talking about is that the bar has been lowered for the people and that the very morals that folks are participating in are low class. No I am not homophobic, anti abortion, etc, but what I see is that America has turned to drugs, such as marijuana that when used is proven to result in poor judgment, and a general breakdown of the family as a sacred unit of society.

I'll also state that I strongly believe that the time to make cuts now, rather than later, even though I agree it will make things messy. The reason I believe that now is the time is that we have a huge amount of debt. We have so much debt that it is scarcely believable that we could pay off the current debt we have now in our lifetimes. The idea that we could actually get the economy on track for long enough, meaning generating an economy that can sustain cuts all the way, and not flop is unbelievable.

Put it this way. We are in the economic super bowl and it is half time and we are down by 70 points. The fortune of the game is written. It seems like winning is impossible, so what is our plan? My plan I learned from a long song by Sepultura in high school, "When you go down. You go down fighting." When your down and you've got nothing to lose, go down fighting.
